DZT's motto is we "Seek to Serve". If you look through the blogroll at all, it's very evident how many Alumns are continuing to serve (also the motto for DZTAA) in our world.
I hope that by now you are aware that ten current members (as well as a few others) are raising money and preparing to go to the Phillipines to work with Alum Marc Morris and his wife at Samaritan's Place Orphanage in May 2009.
But, three ladies are currently serving overseas right now -- Kristen Pace is in Cambodia, and Lindsey Calhoun and Sarah Calfee are in Ghana. If you have a minute, would you stop by their blogs and read what they are doing and what the Lord is doing in and through them? And would you remember to pray for them?
Thanks!

OFFICIAL Reminder
On behalf of Jennifer Drysdale...
To the alumni of Delta Zeta Tau,
My name is Jennifer Drysdale and I have been given the opportunity to
serve you as Corresponding Secretary for the spring 2009 semester. I am
truly excited about what this semester has in store for our sisterhood.
The beginning of every semester is an exciting time for Delta Zeta Tau.
We will soon be tapping a new group of young women who will represent
our sisterhood and continue the legacy that is DZT. As always, our
alumni have an important role in teaching our new tap about our
sisterhood.
The ceremony will be held on January 22nd in Walker
Memorial 207. Please arrive at 7:30 p.m.
I look forward to seeing you all there. Thank you for your continuous
support!
Forever DZT,

REMINDER
The 5th DZT Alumni Ceremony will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 7:30 in Walker Memorial Room 2007.
If you need more information, please contact Jennifer Drysdale (jdrysd00@leeu.edu).
Would you also say a prayer for the current members are they are preparing for voting in the next few days? If you think hard, I'm sure you can remember the pressure that voting brought, and while many things have changed, the stress of nominating, praying about, talking for, and voting on New Girls has not. Thanks!

Dear Delta Zeta Tau alumnus,
On May 10, 2009 current members of Delta Zeta Tau are embarking on a very ambitious two-week trip to the Philippines where they will work at Samaritan's Place, an orphanage that is operated by former beau, Marc Morris ('84) and his wife Marilen.

In addition to working with the orphanage, DZT will spend a great deal of time absorbing the Filipino culture and sharing their faith. The ladies of Delta Zeta Tau will also host a 'field day' for children living outside the gates of Samaritan's Place in the poverty stricken city of Manila. The trip will give DZT the opportunity to make a significant and lasting contribution to the cause of Christ and the greater good of the Kingdom of God in the Philippines.
DZT would like to extend an invitation to DZT alumni to join them on the trip. At present, there are nine spaces available for alumni. The itinerary is yet to be finalized but excursions planned include a day visit to the US Cemetery and the Old Spanish Fort section of Manila.
Total trip cost is $2,000 with the first payment of $1,000 due February 1st and a final payment of $1,000 due February 25th. Trip dates: depart on May 10th and return May 25th.
Please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to go with DZT to the Philippines. Names must be submitted to the travel agency no later than February 1st.
God bless,
Anita Ray '81
